Landon’s hair was getting pretty long on the sides so we had to trim just a tiny bit around the ears this week. Soon we may have to take a little off in the back as well. This movie also shows Landon having fun at Thanksgiving with family and playing what is currently his favorite game, chasing, or being chased, by Mommy or Daddy around the house. Landon didn’t discover drawers until this week. Perhaps we were lucky that our drawers don’t have visible knobs on the outside and that bought us a little extra time. Anyway, he figured it out this weekend and now he is constantly in our drawers and cabinets. We will be finding a way to lock them down ASAP.

This movie doesn’t actually show Landon’s first step, but it is the first one we’ve captured on film. He’s been taking a step or two at a time the past few days. Thanks to Tanner for the shoes Landon is wearing in this movie.
Landon has been practicing standing on his own more and more lately. Here is some video shot this morning of Landon standing, cruising, and playing. Background music is “All the Small Things” by Blink-182.
Landon has graduated from simple crawling to a new hobby: climbing. He climbs the stairs. He climbs onto tables. He’ll even climb into the dishwasher if we let him.
Landon has recently learned to place food into his mouth himself. Here are some examples from today and yesterday. He loves eating “crunchies” but we normally don’t give him any until he finishes his dinner.
Since Landon loves getting comments on his blog and since we already have 5 comments from yesterday’s post, we thought we’d reward his fans with a second posting this weekend. Last Sunday Landon decided it would be fun to chase the a rug in our kitchen. The rug was pretty fast but Landon eventually caught it. See for yourself in the 56 second movie above.
