Landon enjoyed spending time with family again this week and participated in his first New Year toast. Check out the face he makes when he closes the dishwasher a little too hard and is afraid he might be in trouble. Landon’s favorite phrase lately is “I don’t want it” and he also enjoys saying “dog goes” followed by barking noises but we were unable to convince him to do either of those things for the camera. Maybe next week. [Music is Song For No One by Mike Snow]
Landon had a fantastic Christmas sharing time with family and receiving many wonderful gifts. Here is some video from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
It’s a long standing ‘Larson’ tradition to open a few Christmas presents early. Today, Landon got a new pair of shoes and Daddy got a new camera. Both were very excited! The result, as you can see, is lots of footage of Landon jumping and dancing in his new shoes, all in a widescreen format Daddy’s previous point and shoot camera did not support. You can also see here that Landon’s new favorite TV show is The Backyardigans.
Landon turns two years old tomorrow, on Dec. 14th. He celebrated his birthday today with family. A day at the children’s museum with his cousins followed by a wonderful dinner and opening presents, capped off with more playing with his cousins, made for the perfect day.
It’s amazing how much fun the mall can be for kids. All of this video was shot today. Landon had a fantastic time playing with his cousins. [Music is Open Arms by Gary Go]
Most of this video was taken at Thanksgiving. Landon had a great time playing with his cousins, eating (mostly chips) and meeting a chinchilla for the first time. Everything appears in chronological order.
Landon isn’t always great at sharing, but you’ll see him in this video reluctantly agreeing to share his cheerios with his friends at school and also sharing his toys with the cat. [Music is Sweet Dogs by Trolle//Siebenhaar]
We didn’t get a lot of footage this week for the blog. You will, however, see Landon here with his electric toothbrush. He loves it so much he’s been known to brush his teeth for more than 15 minutes, or, as you’ll see here, insist on taking it in the car with him to school so he can wave it around like a lightsaber.
Landon took a break from kicking the ball this week and decided to throw it instead. He had fun playing with his cousins.
