We weighed Landon for the first time in four months yesterday. Based on how much taller he’s gotten and the fact that he seems less skinny these days, we were expecting him to weigh in at around 30 pounds, but he was only 26 pounds, 7 and a half ounces. For comparison, here is is at 25, 24, 23 pounds, 22 pounds, 21 pounds, 20 pounds, 19 pounds, 18 pounds, 17 pounds, 16 pounds, 15 pounds and 14 pounds

Riding All Alone
Landon has been apprehensive about riding amusement park rides in the past, so when we put him in the car shown in this video all alone today, we weren’t sure how it would turn out, but he rode his first ride all alone and didn’t even look worried. Also shown here is some bubble blowing and iPad playing. Not pictured but worth mentioning is that Landon is a parrot these days. That is to say that anything you say to him, he will repeat back to you.
Big Weekend
Soccer practice, Great America, air hockey and then playing in a band with his cousins, even a strange girl putting her arm around him in the mall playground. Landon experienced all the world had to offer this weekend. This is just the small portion we caught on video.
First Soccer Practice
Landon had his first soccer practice this weekend. Unfortunately we only had an iPhone to take video with so it’s a little bit blurry.
I Did It
Landon’s favorite thing to say lately is “I did it!” Here is some video over the past couple of weeks. Landon’s favorite movie these days is Wall-E. He asks to watch it all the time.
Shooting Baskets
March is basketball month in the Larson household. Michigan State won the big ten today and Landon was in the spirit this weekend, shooting some baskets himself. At the end is some footage of Landon running at the park and a couple clips of Landon saying “Daddy.” [Music is My Love by JJ]
Camera Shy
Landon has reached a point where, like many of us, he really doesn’t like having a camera pointed at him. You’ll see here at the beginning of this video he says “I don’t like it” when he sees the camera. There are also some more iPod tricks shown here as Landon demonstrates how to navigate to some of his favorite videos.
iPod
Landon’s favorite toy by far these days is the iPod. He can turn it on and navigate to his favorite games and movies. Here is some video from earlier today of Landon and his iPod.
Trike
Last week at day care Landon demonstrated that he is now able to work the pedals on a tricycle. Not sure when he learned to do that but here is some video footage documenting this new milestone. This past week Landon has also really stepped up his understanding of how to use an iPhone. He can quickly switch between his favorite toddler apps. We’ll try to get some footage of that soon. Also be sure to catch the end of the video where Mommy takes a turn riding the tricycle. [Music is First Sight by These United States]
Tahoe
Landon spend the long MLK day weekend in Tahoe and had a wonderful time playing in the snow, as you can see in this video. You can also see some footage at the end of Landon telling us how a “dog goes” and playing cars with his cousins.
