Here is some video from earlier today. As you can see, Landon is walking with a little more velocity now, almost running at times. He still loves to stir spoons in bowls. He loves giving kisses and will generally provide them when requested. [Music is This Is Why I’m Hot by Mims]
This movie spans Feb. 18 through 22. Landon has become very good at giving kisses, as you’ll see at the beginning of the movie. Landon’s cousin Blake stopped by this week and we caught a bit of the two of them playing on camera. You also may notice both Landon and his Mommy coughing. Landon’s favorite game recently has been throwing plastic balls, and then chasing them down, only to throw them again. Here’s some video of Landon playing this game earlier today. [Music is “Smile” by Jim Squires]

Landon has always liked to feed himself, but only recently has he mastered the use of utensils to the point where the food actually makes it into his mouth. Here is a short clip showing Landon feeding himself with a “spork.”
Landon has 4 molars coming in. The bottom two have been coming in for a while. The top two still have a lot of cutting to do. This will give Landon 12 teeth total but all the teething has him pretty grumpy and uncomfortable. Here is a short movie of Landon whining because his teeth hurt.
Landon has been getting better with his walking. He can now walk from one end of the room to the other. Here is some footage from earlier today showing his progress. [background music is “Shadow Stabbing” by Cake.]
Here is some assorted footage of Landon taken during the first week of 2009. There are so many new toys to play with after his birthday and Christmas just passed. The busy ball popper his Uncle Aaron and Aunt Laura got for him shown here is one of his current favorites along with the Learning Home which can be seen in the background. Landon loves drinking water, but he loves it even more when he gets to drink it from his Mommy’s glass. Finally, at the end is yet another shot of Landon enjoying the chair he got for his birthday from the Galbos and Tretters.
Landon had a wonderful week in Michigan visiting family for the holidays. There are tons of photos from the trip in the December 2008 Photo Gallery. The video above shows Landon all bundled up and experiencing snow for the first time.
Landon is one year old today. He had a fantastic birthday party along with his cousin Alec, who turns 10 this week. The footage above shows some highlights from the festivities. Landon received lots of wonderful gifts and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
