It’s kind of fun to take video footage of group photos. Landon had lots of time with family this past week with Grandparents coming into town to see his new little brother and a party to celebrate his little brother reaching 1 month of age.

I Got Him

Find the Dog
Landon’s favorite books these days are the ones where he can search for an item on a cluttered page. If he can find a few of the same item and get to count them along the way that’s even better. Here is some video of Landon playing with his cousins, reading with his cousins, and throwing grapes in the backyard.
Counting
Landon has gotten pretty good at counting lately. Here is some video of Landon counting during the past couple of days.
July Weekend

Baby Brother
Landon’s baby brother was born this week. Landon has been protective of his brother already. At the doctor’s office when Kellan was crying, Landon told the doctor his exam needed to be “all done” since it was making the baby cry. He also brings Kellan his pacifier several times a day.
Summer Fun
It’s summer time. Time to go outside. Jump in the pool. Throw pool toys over the wall. Spray the hose in the backyard. And of course, it’s time to sing “Monkeys Jumping on the Bed.” [Music is Kingmaker by Family Cactus]
Made Mess
Toddlers certainly are messy eaters. Here is some video of Landon pointing out that he made a mess, blowing bubbles, and running around with a ball.
Taking Turns
While still not a pro at sharing, Landon has learned to embrace the concept of taking turns at times. Here is some video evidence of Landon taking turns with Daddy, and also some nice footage of Landon spending time with Mommy.
Potty
Some things are better not captured in picture or video, but for the record, Landon made his first poo poo in the potty today. He’s done number one in the potty before, but never number two, until today. (We can’t be sure what he’s done at day care, but at home this is a first).
