Landon spent some quality time with family this weekend. You’ll see him here with his brother, and also playing the iPad with Auntie Rachel. He also spends some quality time with Luke the dog at the end.

Group Photos
It’s kind of fun to take video footage of group photos. Landon had lots of time with family this past week with Grandparents coming into town to see his new little brother and a party to celebrate his little brother reaching 1 month of age.
Find the Dog
Landon’s favorite books these days are the ones where he can search for an item on a cluttered page. If he can find a few of the same item and get to count them along the way that’s even better. Here is some video of Landon playing with his cousins, reading with his cousins, and throwing grapes in the backyard.
Counting

July Weekend

Baby Brother
Landon’s baby brother was born this week. Landon has been protective of his brother already. At the doctor’s office when Kellan was crying, Landon told the doctor his exam needed to be “all done” since it was making the baby cry. He also brings Kellan his pacifier several times a day.
Summer Fun
It’s summer time. Time to go outside. Jump in the pool. Throw pool toys over the wall. Spray the hose in the backyard. And of course, it’s time to sing “Monkeys Jumping on the Bed.” [Music is Kingmaker by Family Cactus]
Taking Turns
While still not a pro at sharing, Landon has learned to embrace the concept of taking turns at times. Here is some video evidence of Landon taking turns with Daddy, and also some nice footage of Landon spending time with Mommy.
Lightning McQueen
Landon can now walk up and down stairs by himself without holding onto anything. You can see him here walking down, which seems to be a little bit harder than going up. He’s also been singing “I Love Cars, E I E I O” a lot this week so we got some footage of that. We also finally took Lightning McQeen out for a spin today. Previously he had lived inside the house. At the end of this video you can see Landon and his Mommy practicing yoga.
Seesaw
At the park. Seesaw. Laughing. Doesn’t get much better, does it?
